The Last Parcel - One

There was this girl, who was deeply in love with a guy she shouldn't love. They loved each other deeply and were inseparable. Life goes on like this for many years until one day, the girl had to move away for both their good. She moved to a new place, to start a new life, so the one she dearly loved to could have a better future without her in picture.

The separation was a devastating episode for both yet time healed with the two carried on being good friends despite the distance. Not too long after the break up, the girl received a text message from the guy saying: "I'm engaged." Shocked and overwhelmed by the news, the girl went into a bout of depression, hitting rock bottom.

The engagement had transformed this once-bubbly, cheerful and optimistic girl to a pessimistic crybaby with split persona. It affected her career, her social circles and her kinship with family. It was a couple of months later she decided to walk out of the bleak, looking over the darkness, towards her salvation.

With the love and care she has gotten from family and friends, she moved forward, leaving all the unfortunate memories behind. That's when the idea of The Last Parcel hits her.

After days of shopping and compiling the best gifts in town, the girl packed them in a parcel, wrote a heart-felt letter and sealed it with one last kiss before sending it away to that guy she cherished so dearly once.

It's the last parcel that she found solace in; it's the last parcel she find the strength to move on; it's the last parcel she realised the next person she's giving her heart away to, would be the one she's spending the rest of her life with. It's nothing but the last parcel that made this girl a woman she is today.
