The Last Parcel - Two

She didn't think much of him when they first met at the University Hall's orientation. He was like a regular guy, maybe a little cute and was all fooling around with the other guys.

It was subsequently when they started to see each other often at events organised by both the University and Hall that she took notice of him. He is a mixed, quite an attractive one minus that round beer belly. They took pictures, they chatted and went shopping together at outings.

The One that Got Away

Have you ever wondered what has happened to The One that Got Away? Yes, I have. And I think I do spend a good heap of time doing so when I ride on some emotional rollercoaster every now and then.
Some of you might have known the meaning behind The Last Parcel and I always hope I could be much more stronger inwards than the way I present myself to the others. After going through so much in life in the past year, there's no doubt I am a much stronger and better woman than I was a year ago.

Here's a dedication to YOU - The One I Loved with My All, The One that Got Away. Please remember you are always that special someone in my heart no matter how far we have moved on in life. 143.

30 Things Every Woman Should Have and Should Know by the Time She's 30

So here's the thing, I should be focusing right now, yet my mind is drifted to ten thousand miles away. Ah, yes, I am so unfocused! Here's to explain - oh, me and my excuses - I went to bed with some weird thoughts in my head and dreamt of this "flirtatious charming" guy I have never met nor knew. I'm getting eccentric, right? Anyway, I was obsessed with this post on The Huffington Post about the 30 things women should have done or knew by the age of 30. I'm 6 years away, knowing I just blew that 24 candles last weekend. Six years isn't a long stretch away but I'm sure I'll be enjoying my singledom, coupledom, marriage life (not gonna have a "dom" here, unless it's going to end up being a doom! And yes - I'm thinking extremely far now!). Here's an adaption from the original post on Glamour Magazine: 30 Things Every Woman Should Have and Should Know by the Time She's 30. If you're past 30, do not worry, it's a measure of how much you have achieved in those lovely years, and if you're 30 and below, digest the message and see how much more you could fulfill in life. As for me, I shall make my life the prettiest and best, regardless of how old I am, because I know I have all the support I need and the unmeasurable love the beautiful people around me offer.

A Successful Woman

Every woman should possess the confidence that is unique to herself, where no other has. She is a successful woman at all walks of life.

Learn to love yourself before you love that special someone.

Amid all the dramas in my life, I am pleased to meet and befriend some of the wonderful women. There is nothing you could ask for when you were noted for your confidence, the strong personality you have and the unique characteristics that made you special.

No doubt, I enjoyed these women's companies and love to catch up with them again.

If you are a woman and is my friend, this is for you. Thanks for making me a successful person with that confidence that made me shine!

DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love

This was once his favourite song, but now it's embedded on my head and mind, clearly proving how much I have missed him over the time.

Where is God When Bad Things Happen to Good People?

Have you ever thought where is God when bad things happen to good people?

Late this afternoon, I was chatting with one of my caregroup friend on Whatsapp about The Shack. One thing I have to confess is how much I agree with the book, when Papa (God) and Jesus said they - as in the Holy Trinity - is always there when bad things happen to good people. But why aren't they doing anything about it? Why aren't they stopping all the bad things from happening?

The Shack

Have you heard of this title The Shack?

It's a book recommended by Pastor Amanda Viviers at Riverview Church, Perth. Back when I was in Perth, Amanda shared about how much this book has impacted her and fellow God-lovers. I have to admit it was something at the back of my head to take note to, something I have to put on my reading list. Honestly, I've put the thought away for a bit before my reading spree came to live lately.

So, here's the thing. I have been dwelling in self-pity, since Grandpa's passing a week ago. Thinking twice, is it necessary to do so? No, the answer is never. For all we know, Grandpa didn't like us being sad, mourn or grief over it. He wants us to move on, he wants us to get on with life because he is watching us from Above, where our Heavenly Daddy is.
